Detonation parameters of aluminized composite explosives have been calculated by means of SD computer code. Computations were performed on two assumptions: (1) for complete oxidation of Al within the reaction zone of a detonation wave, and (2) nonreacting Al within the reaction zone of a detonation wave. Detonation parameters of TNT mixers with 10-30% Al and BTNEN mixers with 10-25%Al at various charge densities were computed and calculation results were compared with experimental data on detonation. In calculations of performances for high density explosive compositions TNT/Al the effect of phase transition C-graphite → C-diamond was into account too.
