The conditions of synthesis and fundamental colloid-chemical properties of stabilized and unstabilized hydrosols of copper oxide were investigated. The mixtures for composite ceramic membranes preparation have been elaborated. The microfiltration ceramic membranes of alumina oxide were applied as supports. There was investigated influence of manner and coating cycles, contact duration of sol and support, on the thickness of top layer. It was found out, that the obtained membranes have high chemical stability in alkaline interval of pH (12-14). It was illustrated, that in addition to the separate ability property the obtained membranes have a catalytic activity, so this membranes could be applied in the processes of phenol wet air oxidation.
