The experimental investigations of atmospheric heat pump fluidized bed drying of protein were carried out. The influence of drying stages number and drying time on the final product quality characteristics (residual moisture content, color, bulk density) was investigated. The advantages of atmospheric two-stage heat pump fluidized bed drying in comparison with atmospheric freeze heat pump fluidized bed drying were recognized.
