PARTNERSHIP AS A PROMISING ALTERNATIVE

The paper describes partnerships and cross-partnerships between companies as alternatives to competition, mergers and acquisitions. Imperfections of competition and monopolies are defined; the benefits that can be gained from partnerships are described. Examples of acquisitions and alliances are given, current market trends are considered; it is demonstrated how, using partner relationships, companies can gain benefits inherent to big structures, without bearing associated risks and expenses.
