HETEROPHASIC SYNTHESIS OF CERIUM-DOPED YTTRIUM ALUMINUM GARNET

The results of heterophasic synthesis of cerium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet have been discussed. It is shown that phosphor obtained by heterophasic method under comparable conditions (sintered at 1600оC) has higher intensity of luminescence than one obtained by solid-state method.
