SORPTION KINETICS OF HEAVY METALS BY SYNTHETIC INORGANIC ION EXCHANGERS

Kinetics of sorption of heavy metals by the synthetic inorganic ion exchangers from aqueous solutions was studied by the method of limited volume of solution. Kinetic curves of sorption of nickel, iron and copper with the highest degree of correlation are described by the equation of pseudo-second order with rate constants 0.0237, 0.0234 and 0.0279 g∙mg-1∙min-1, respectively.
