SYNTHESIS AND PHYSICOCHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF METAL NANOPARTICLES OF IRON, NICKEL AND BIMETALLIC NANOPARTICLES Fe/Ni

The formation and optical properties of Fe NP, Ni NP and bimetallic Fe/Ni NP obtained by chemical reduction of metal ions in reverse micellar solutions in the presence of oxygen and flavonoid quercetin have been studied. The basic idea of this method is that by appropriate monitoring and control synthesis parameters can be obtained nano-sized particles with new physico-chemical properties and anomalous magnetic and electrocatalytic activity.
