COMPLEX FORMATION OF IMIDAZOPHENANTHROLINE DERIVATIVES WITH COPPER PERCHLORATE

The process of complex formation of imidazophenanthroline derivatives with Cu(II) perchlorate was investigated using spectrophotometric titration and electrochemical methods. Electron transfer in the formed complexes was found for the first time. This transfer leads to the spontaneous reduction Cu(II) to Cu(I).
