The properties of fire extinguishing fuels on the basis of plasticized iditol when excess oxidant ratio (α) changing within narrow limits (0,95 - 1,014) were studied. Has been shown that it leads to a significant change of the burning rate of fuels combustion at armospheric pressure (~1,8 times), their fire extinguishing ability (~1,7 times). Estimated content of CO in the combustion products varies from 0,005 to 0,85 mole/kg fuel.Found that FEA of the fuel and its combustion products influence on paper depends on the relative humidity.
