Quercetin (Qu)-loaded polylactide submicron particles (SP) were synthesized for the capability of their visualization on histological sections by Pearls’ staining. Certain parameters of SP (sizes, surface charges, contents of included quercetin) were assayed. Sorption of Fe(III) on SP was studied, it’s maximum value comes to 12,8-14,8 mkg / mg of SP. Percentage of quercetin on the surface of SP was estimated for the case corresponding to maximum possible occupancy of SP’s surface.This value amounts to half of the total quantity of quercetin in the sample (0,24 μmol Qu/mg of 0,48 μmol in mg SP). By means of scanning electron microscopy images of these particles were obtained.
