PROTOLYTIC PROPERTIES OF ALIZARIN RED S IMMOBILIZED TO THE COPOLYMER OF METHYL METHACRYLATE, ETHYL ACRYLATE AND QUATERNARY DIMETHYLAMINOETHYL METHACRYLATE SALT

A new method of obtaining a polymer film sensitive layer (SL) has been developed. It is based on Alizarin Red S (AiR) ionic immobilization to the copolymer of methyl methacrylate, ethyl acrylate and quaternary salt of dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate. A study of AlR protolytic properties in a polymer medium was conducted and a higher acidity level of immobilized AlR was recorded, which is displayed by an increased 1st acid dissociation constant.
