INVESTIGATION OF rifabutin - hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin INTERMOLECULAR INTERACTIONBY affinity capillary electrophoresis

Influence of pH on ionic state of rifabutin (RB), its electrophoretic mobility, and interaction with hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HP-β-CD) in the aqueous media was evaluated using affinity capillary electrophoresis. It was shown that this interaction was most effective at the acidic condition. Moreover, in the acidic medium the electrophoretic mobility of RB was shown to be a function of HP-β-CD concentration.
