Increase of THE EFFICIENCY OF LUMINESCENCE of NANOSTRUCTURED GALLium-containing GERMANosilicate glass

The quantum yield of luminescence of gallium-containing germanosilicate glasses has been increased by a factor of one and a half through determination of two-step heat treatment conditions. Low sensitivity to solar radiation makes these glasses potential candidates for elaboration of solar-blind detectors.
