SYNTHESIS AND OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF RARE-EARTH ACTIVATED YTTRIA-ALUMINOBORATE GLASSES

Huntite-like yttria-aluminoborate glasses doped with Ce (III) and Tb (III) have been synthesized. The influence of process conditions and glass composition on the glass optical properties has been investigated. Conditions of Ce (IV) ® Ce (III) and Tb (IV) ® Tb (III) transfer have also been revealed.
