INVESTIGATION OF ADSORBTION OF BENZENE FROM VAPOUR-AIR MIXTURE BY PEAT-POLYMER ACTIVE CARBON

Subject of the work is modeling of adsorbtion of benzene from vapour-air flow by experimental active carbon, aimed to prevent exhaust of the solvent into atmosphere. Capacity of the adsorbent to benzene under different conditions is evaluated, correlations of benzene adsorbtion and concentration of its vapour and process time are found, efficient way of desorbtion is proposed and cyclic tests are realized in laboratory set.
