The work contains the results of the research of catalytic activity of a number of popular commercial active coals in the decomposition reaction of hydrogen peroxide with the purpose of their subsequent use in adsorption-catalytic purification of water from organic impurities, and in particular, from nonionic surface-active substances with hydrogen peroxide. Set the kinetic characteristics of the process at a high temperature in an alkaline environment, selected the most effective pattern of active coal - BAU.
