IATROCHEMISTRY IN THE SEARCH OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

There were discussed the reasons of appearance of iatrochemistry, which considered processes in a human body as the chemical phenomena, diseases as result of violation of chemical equilibrium for which restoration it is necessary to use chemical substances. Scientific works of Paracelsus (Teofast Bombast von Gogengejm, 1493 - 1541), Johann Baptist Wang-Gelmont (1577-1644) and Johann Rudolf Glauber (1604-1670) are discussed in context of the concept of a sustainable development.
