DESTRUCTION OF 2,4 - DICHLOROPHENOL DISSOLVED IN WATER IN THE PLASMA OF DIELECTRIC BARRIER DISCHARGE

Kinetic data about degradation of aqueous solutions of 2,4 - dichlorophenol in the plasma of barrier discharge are presented. It is shown that the DBD is an effective method of destruction of 2,4 - dichlorophenol with a conversion of the pollutant reaches 99% under optimal conditions. It is established that the main product of degradation are carboxylic acids.
