The temperature distribution in the combustion wave of systems composed of guanidinium and triaminoguanidinium salts of 5,5’-azotetrazole and nitroester-based active binders

The temperature distribution in the combustion wave of systems composed of guanidinium and triaminoguanidinium salts of 5,5’-azotetrazole and nitroester-based active binders has been studied with the help of micro-thermocouples. The maximum flame temperature was measured at pressures of 20 and 100 atm. It has been shown that the calculated flame temperature can be achieved only for mixtures with triaminoguanidinium salts of 5,5’-azotetrazole regardless of the binder used. The ignition temperature of the mixtures under investigation has been measured to confirm the compatibility of the salts of 5,5’-azotetrazole with the nitroester-based binders.
