SIMULATION HYDRODYNAMIC PARTICULATE MATERIAL IN THE ROTARY DRUM

In this paper we simulated the hydrodynamics of the bulk material in horizontal rotating cylindrical drum. A 2D model was utilized using packages FLUENT and Gambit. The model parameters which describes the various stages of the whole flow behavior of the granules were estimated. Confirmed good agreement between experimental and calculated values.
