Analysis of styrene production waste and potential molybdenum and chrome extraction ways

This is a study of waste co-production of styrene and propylene oxide (SOP), which is implemented by PTC «Nizhnekamskneftekhim». It is formed after firing disposal of waste production in the form of an alkali melting (AM) - soda alloy molybdate and sodium chromate (Na2MoO4, Na2CrO4) with traces of Fe2O3. Solutions and precipitates obtained after dissolving in water and (AM) concentrated HCl, was analyzed by photometric methods content on Mo, Cr and Fe. Also with the aim of comparative content of elements in the resulting solutions (AM) studied by atomic emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma (ICP-AES).
