INVESTIGATIONS OF DEPENDENCE CARBON FIBRE ADSORBENTS PROPERTIES ON THEIR PRODUCTION CONDITIONS

Activation of carbon fibers based on cellulose hydrate and the possibility of production sorbents with given adsorption properties were investigated. Surface state of initial carbon fibers was determined and porous structure was evaluated for activated carbon fibers involved. It was found and experimentally verified that the adsorption properties of the sorbents obtained depend on the production conditions and the surface state.
