In this paper a case study of life cycle assessment application for supply chain network design and planning in petrochemical industry is described. The life-cycle assessment for polyole 11 fins supply chain production from wet natural gas is carried out. Supply chain for polyolefin production from wet natural gas is described; life cycle inventory and life cycle impact assessment are carried out according to the LCA methodology. LCA results are used in supply chain strategic network design and planning optimization model.
