In the given work the process of extracting nickel hydroxide has been considered. It is shown that the presence of background ions (such as a SO4 2-, Cl-, NO3-) has a great influence on such parameters of electroflotation process, as the size and charge of particles of a disperse phase of hydroxides. Influence of the size and charge of the investigated particles on their degree of extraction (in the electroflotation treatment process) from modeling solutions is established.
