A method of commercial activated carbons modification was developed. The method consists of electropolymerization of pyrrole on carbon surface. It attaches a hemocompatibility to carbon and maintains its adsorption activity towards toxicants. Dependence of chlorprothixene adsorption on potential of composite [thermo expanded graphite (TEG)–polypyrrole] was found.
