Energy- and resource-saving way of dimethyl ether and hydrogen synthesis from natural gas is proposed. The possibility of implementation of new technology of methanol production without synthesis gas recirculation followed by methanol dehydration to dimethyl ether over low temperature catalysts, steam methanol reforming to hydrogen combined with CO2 use in the production cycle and hydrogen generation in PSA unit to create efficient modular type plants of dimethyl ether and hydrogen production is demonstrated.
