The possibility of using aqueous solutions of silicates organic ammonium bases for the protective adhesive films under the paint on the steel surface. Dissolution of silica in aqueous solutions of quaternary ammonium bases (NR4OH) were obtained silicates organic compounds, which were then used to form protective films. Found that the protective ability and moisture resistance of the films did not depend on the silica modulus of quaternary ammonium bases, concentration and temperature of solutions. The optimal concentration of working solution (10 g / l), the temperature range of working solution (45 500C) and the duration of treatment (1 min). Found that post-treatment silicone coating in a solution containing cerium ions (III), increases its protective ability.
