Thermal decomposition of melted macrocyclic tetra(diazenoxide furazan) (TOATF) in isothermal and non isothermal condition has been studied. As it turned out its thermal stability 15 significantly exceeds not only stability of linear analog, but also stability of RDX and HMX. Burning rate of TOATF has been obtained and it exceeds burning rate of CL-20. The thermocouple measurements showed that leading reaction on combustion of TOATF is located the condensed phase and the burning rate is defined by kinetics of decomposition at the surface temperature. Kinetics of TOATF decomposition at 560-750°С calculated by using a condensed-phase model are in a good agreement with kinetics data obtained in melt at 235-270°С.
