The influence of temperature and supersaturation on induction period in the nucleation of magnesium hydroxide crystals from supersaturated solutions is studied. Some energy characteristics of nucleation are determined. The mechanism of ultrasonic intensification of hetero31 geneous crystallization of calcium carbonate is clarified. The kinetics of the precipitation of copper and nickel ions in homogeneous and heterogeneous crystallization is investigated.
